  • Job Description

    DDL OMNI’s Engineering Services Division is seeking a Designer/Drafter III to prepare drawings of unusual complexity or original designs that require a high degree of precision and require considerable initiative, resourcefulness and drafting expertise. The Designer/Drafter III shall ensure problems in manufacture, assembly, installation and operation are resolved by the produced set of drawings. The job will require the Designer/Drafter III to exercise independent judgment in selecting and interpreting data based on knowledge of the design requirements. Work at this level generally involves more advanced design/drafting assignments.








    Education Required: AS degree in engineering field or Design Certificate and 7 years’ experience, equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is two years’ experience for one year of college

    Experience and Skills Required: Proficiency in generating 3D models and 2D drawings using preferred AutoCAD and Inventor software; written and oral communications of technical data to convey design information; demonstrate leadership to provide direction and guidance to junior personnel


    Qualified candidates must have the ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance which requires US Citizenship.
