  • Job Description

    DDL OMNI’s Engineering Services Division is seeking a Designer/Drafter I to prepare working plans, detailed drawings and complete mechanical or electrical drawings of moderately complex components and assemblies from notes, verbal instructions and rough or detailed sketches for engineering or manufacturing purposes, using computerized equipment (e.g., AutoCAD). The Designer/Drafter I will make engineering computations and adjustments in drawings. Verify work by checking dimensions, materials and quantities used.

     

    Education Required - High School diploma, GED, or Technical School Diploma and 1 year of experience.

     

    Experience and Skills Required - Working knowledge AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Good commun3ication and customer service skills. Will be required to pass a background check and fingerprinting.

     

     

    Qualifications

    Qualified candidates must have the ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance which requires US Citizenship.
