Senior Analyst – Strategy and Systems Planner

DDL OMNI's Simulation and Services Division, in support of the U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFF) Plans and Resources has a career opportunity for a Strategy and Systems Planner to provide technical expertise in support of US Fleet Force (USFF) Fleet/Joint Training Directorate (N7). USFF is responsible for coordinating, establishing, and implementing integrated requirements and policies for manning, equipping, and training Fleet units, amphibious ready groups (ARG), expeditionary strike groups (ESG), carrier strike groups (CSG), and expeditionary strike forces. These requirements and elements are paramount in the execution of the Fleet Response Plan (FRP), in support of and required by United States Navy (USN) policy and unified commanders. This position specifically supports USFF's N7 organization and candidates should possess Navy Live Virtual Constructive Training experience. 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan and coordinate opposing force capabilities, systems, and integration in support of Fleet training events to enable the Navy to training against a complex, realistic threat representation



Qualified candidates must have an active secret security clearance which requires US Citizenship.


Education Required:   Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 15 years of experience in Naval operations and training


Experience and Skills Required:   

  • At least 3 years of experience in Fleet training (e.g., COMPTUEX) planning and execution
  • Familiar with issues and challenges of presenting a modern, threat representative training environment in all aspects of the battlespace (kinetic, non-kinetic, intelligence, POL-MIL) across all phases of operations
  • Working knowledge of issues that affect integrated training on various Navy platforms
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Must possess a SECRET clearance
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills are a must
  • Able to support up to 10% travel
