  • Job Description

    DDL OMNI’s Simulation and Services Division has a career opportunity for a Senior Warfare Analyst to provide subject matter expertise to support all facet in surface warfare missions to enhance warfighting readiness and increase the combat effectiveness of the Surface navy through: individual, unit-level and group instruction, training and assessment; support the Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI) program; and review, update, or, when required, development of operational or tactical doctrine. The Senior Warfare Analyst will provide support both inport and at-sea, in CONUS and OCONUS.





    Qualified candidates must have the ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance which requires US Citizenship.


    Education Required:  

    • Bachelor’s Degree desired, no specific discipline


    Experience and Skills Required:

    The successful candidate must have:

    • A minimum of twenty (20) years of military experience
    • A minimum of three (3) years of experience (concurrent or sequential to 20 years military experience) teaching and/or instructing in a formal classroom setting
    • Familiarity with operational and tactical doctrine, concept of operations, standard operating procedures, and tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP)
    • Five (5) years’ experience aboard Navy cruisers or destroyers or Navy aircraft carriers or large deck amphibious ships equipped with the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS)
    • Qualified and experienced in a watch station with the authority to employ the Aegis Weapon System (i.e. Tactical Action Officer (TAO)) or Qualified and experienced in a watch station with the authority to employ the SSDS (TAO of CDC Watch Officer)
    • Must possess a Tactical Action Officer Qualification letter.
    • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Access, Excel, Power Point, Project and Word)
    • Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills
    • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative methods for assessment in relation to warfighting readiness, capabilities, and capacities
